Class Description

Understanding the differences between morals, laws, and ethics can be a bit mind-bending. So many people use these terms without understanding the meanings. Although most hospitality managers are not confronted with serious moral or legal problems during the workday, they regularly face ethical challenges. This class will provide historical and current perspectives on ethical theories and values, discuss six ethical challenges that may arise for hospitality managers, and describe what a code of ethics looks like.
